Our foundation exists under the umbrella of USD 246.
The foundation has been able to make grants in the amount of $57,000. Of this amount, $41,000 has been scholarships to students of Northeast High School with the balance of $16,000 given directly to the district for specific needs. The great thing is that even though we have been able to distribute $57,000, since our first award made in May 2007, we have been able to maintain our principal investments through our endowed fund.
